Service Reporting FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ran November 16, 2006 through November 23, 2006
Fellow Arrowman,
the 2006 fiscal year for Service reporting is coming to an end. In Order to get credit for ANY service reports I need to have an electronic sent to me via email by Midnight on Sunday August 19th. As of right now, reaching 15,000+ on the year is a stretch. The Lodge can not do this with out the reports from you and many others in this large Lodge. if you need a Microsoft word version of the service report form for sending electronically, it can be found under the forms page of our lodge website www.migisi.org.
Again, any and all Service reports that the loge would wish to have included in this years service fiscal report, should be sent to Service Chairman Matt Elias care of: allowat162@gmail.com by Midnight Sunday 19-November-2006. Because Monday, the year will be closed out, and any reports will be credited to the 2007 Fiscal Service year end report.

Still time to serve!
Ran November 2, 2006 through December 2, 2006
Just a few days till we hold our Lodge Service Project (Saturday Nov. 4) and there is still time to sign up to help. Email me at andrew@crew539.org to let me know you want to help out.
Some folks have asked my brother and I about more info. Check out the Migisi calendar (on www.migisi.org) for a link to a map. The time and address are posted there too.
We'll start setting up at 8:00 a.m. We'll train OA volunteers that show up around 8:30 how to run the equipment (its really easy and if you come later don't worry) and the program starts at 9:00 a.m. We'll go until 5:00 and leave by 5:30 p.m. So you have plenty of time to show up. Spend a few hours there or spend the whole day.
Just let me know by emailing me.
See you there. Thanx.

LODGE SERVICE PROJECT: MI/CHIP Event Nov. 4
Ran October 9, 2006 through November 5, 2006
Do you know what I do for fun some weekends? I help make child identification packets for families in communities from Detroit to Okemos and Lincoln Park to Muskegon for the MI/ChIP Program
Do you want to have FUN and make a difference? Come serve your community by helping at Michigan Child Identification Program (MI/ChIP) on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Rogers Elementary School in Allen Park/ Melvindale. We still need Youth volunteers to help out at the event as well as those willing to take a Leading Role. E-mail me if you are willing to help provide leadership for our event or come and help out for a hour or few.
This is a Lodge Wide service project approved by the Lodge Leadership Committee and Professional Advisers. We need YOUTH Arrowmen to help lead and otherwise serve by registering children, taking DNA mouth swabs, making teeth imprints, and entering information into computers. Its tons of fun and really rewarding so come down on that Saturday, earn some Lodge service hours and help out.

One Day of Service
Ran April 3, 2006 through May 3, 2006
Okie Dokie ladies and Gents:
As we all know there is a One Day of Service event scheduled by our own Eric Behrmann for April 29th @ Belle Isle.
I know there is concern out there for completion of the community service requirement for the Leadership in Service Award. I am looking into a second One Day of Service event for sometime later in the fiscal year for the lodge.
If there is any further questions or concerns on the Belle Isle one day of Service, I ask that those questions be directed to Mr. Behrmann. Once I provide information on the second project, you may then direct question concerning that project to me.
thank you for your cooperation.

Arrowman,
I have been inputing data into the 2006 Service report spreadsheet but I am now out of fresh data to input. This is where I need lodge-wide assistance. I need service reports submitted to me in 1 of 2 possible forms. 1) a Hard copy report. OR you could use my personal favorite 2) An electronic copy sent to me care of: allowat162@hotmail.com
HURRY, don't let your service hours for 2006 go UNLOGGED. Our Lodge can only eclipse 15,000 Service hours this fiscal year with your MUCH NEEDED assistance.

October Service Weekend Changes.
Ran September 30, 2005 through October 2, 2005
Due to the fact that A DAC District has requested that the Climbing tower be available and that I am a key certified instructor, my peresence has been requested for the day, down at the Climbing tower.
As always you are still more than welcome to come up to camp and volunteer your time. What is most in need of maintenace is the Pedro Trail. We need to brush back the trial so that it is walkable with out getting injured. Also we need to concentrate our efforts to making sure the trail is propperly labeled, so as people will not get lost while hiking. Please use three nails in the trail maker when you tack it to the tree, so that it is not easily played with.
Again, due to my obligation to the Council weekend Climbing staff, I cannot join you. Make sure to fill out a SERVICE REPORT and submit it to me if any work gets done this weekend at camp.
