Goals

Service Committee

Chairman:Dougald MacEachern
Responsible Officer:Jacob Eccleston
Adviser:Mr. Mike Rochowiak
Purpose:This committee coordinates service projects in our Lodge, including the One Day of Service. They work closely with the Rangers to help get the right tasks done at Lodge weekends.

The Order of the Arrow provides service to Units, Councils and their Community. The Service Committee works to coordinate efforts of our members in serving the Council, primarily by serving our council camps and our Community, primarily through the One Day of Service.

Council Service
We provide a great deal of service through our Ordeals and our monthly Service Day program. We also take responsibility for maintaining the Pedro Trail and many Lodge members are involved in staffing the Thomas D. Trainor Scout Museum at D-A Scout Ranch.

Community Service
Chapters perform community service throughout the year and our Lodge, like many in the Central Region, participates annually in the One Day of Service program.

Reporting Service Hours

The lodge "Service Report" captures the details and hours for service to our camps and community.

Our individual 'Leadership in Service Award" form tracks an individual's service/hours toward this award.
