Ceremonialists perform at record fall Ordeal event

Ceremonial teams were center stage at the fall Ordeal where they inducted 114 new members into the Order to bring our lodge membership to 1,334 arrowmen. They also converted 47 Ordeal members to Brotherhood in a spectacular Michigan star lit ceremony. Here, ceremonialists from Mahican and Wapaneu Chapters gather before their evening induction ceremonies.

NOAC 2K9 in 294 days!

The lodge is please to announce registrations for the 2009 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) are being taken for members of Migisi Opawgan Lodge. The preliminary cost estimate is $450 for the August 1-6, 2009 event at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. A non-refundable (but transferable) deposit of $75 is required by October 31st. The lodge leadership hopes our NOAC fund raisers will help reduce the estimated cost for participants, but we must run with the $450 fee for planning purposes. Past national OA requirements dictate a 2:1 youth to adult ratio; so adult participation will be limited to this ratio against our youth registrations. Questions: Please speak to NOAC Chairman, Andrew Curtiss, or his NOAC Adviser, Mr. Mike Bien.
